The voices of 5 contemporary scientists unite in a symphony of dreams, struggles, success and inspiration. Their stories echo the progress made since the Bluestockings era and tune in to a future of gender equality.

'Lab Dreams' is a short film about the need for Gender Equality in the man-dominated field of Sciences, inspired by Jessica Swale's play 'Blue Stockings' set in 1890s in Cambridge.

The film was supported by the Creative Learning department of the Lyric Theater Belfast and the Garfield Weston Foundation, winning a pitch competition among other students from Queen's University Belfast.
