This curiosity and thirst for learning led me on a long scientific journey spanning more than 18 years, during which I studied and conducted research in Physics and Material Science across six academic institutions. More recently, I have worked as an administrator at Queen's University Belfast.

My relationship with science is driven by a deep enthusiasm for learning and understanding the world around us, but art has always been the essence that binds everything together and evokes emotion. I thrive on challenges and love pushing the boundaries of the status quo. My mission is to inspire diverse audiences with the wonders of nature, encourage reconnection with our own human nature, and explore the complex, sometimes dark entanglement of politics, economy, and science.

Participatory filmmaking is one of my latest endeavors, along with blending fiction and non-fiction elements in documentary filmmaking.

Over the past three years, I have produced, directed, and edited four short films. Baltic (so it is!) was officially selected for the Ethnographic Festivals in Athens (2023) and Paris (2024), as well as Docs Ireland (2024). It was also nominated for a Royal Television Society (RTS) NI Student Award in the Factual Short-Form category. Mantis Shrimp won the RTS NI Student Award in the Entertainment and Comedy category and received the Audience Award at a Queen's University Belfast screening. Lab Dreams won a student competition organized by the Lyric Theatre.

Our latest film Nostos (2024), made in collaboration with local artists from migrant and refugee communities, has been nominated for a documentary award at the Oxford Shorts film festival.
